As a result of the Coronavirus, many voluntary and community organisations are now in an extremely precarious position, often having to deliver additional services with fewer volunteers and staff members, while having to cancel fundraising activities.

Many grant making trusts along with the Government, the National Lottery Community Fund and a number of companies, have launched new funds to help organisations get through these challenging times.

There are a number of lists and directories available to keep track of them. A good to one to keep an eye on is the Funding & pro bono area of the new Voluntary Voice forum, a free to use online space for furloughed and home based sector workers.

The Government recently announced its spending plans for the £750m fund established to support charities, with half of this going towards small local organisations. You can find out more via this link.
