We've launched our first small grant pilot!
Updated: May 3
The pilot will help the charity to plan its future grant making and wider support programme and is aimed at organisations with an annual turnover of £100,000 or less.
Do IT Foundation’s Founder, Jamie Ward-Smith, said,
“Our aim is to make it easy for the smallest of voluntary groups to access micro grants and other support via a simple to use digital platform. This pilot is an important step in helping us to better understand their needs as we plan our grant making and support strategies.”
Do IT Foundation aims to address the perceived imbalance of grants and donations that sees the 70+% of charities with annual incomes of £100k a year or less, receive less than 2.5% of total funding that comes into the sector.
Do IT Foundation is the charity foundation of Do IT Life social enterprise. A registered charity (1117891) the Foundation was formed following the joint venture between Do-it Trust’s Do-it.org volunteering website and the EdTech company Vivo launched in 2017.
